Dear friends and massage enthusiasts,
This isn’t the email I planned to write, but I’ll get to that. The bad news is that I broke my wrist while mountain biking and I will not be able to work for several weeks. I’ll have more information next week after I meet with an orthopedic surgeon but I’m optimistic that I will heal well. I’m lucky that I have such a great team of colleagues at Open Door and I plan on using our own massage, herbal medicine, acupuncture and physical therapy resources to help things along. If you have a prepaid future appointment your payment will automatically roll over to your next appointment, or I can arrange a refund.
The email I planned to write is that I am raising my prices for the first time since 2019! I believe that with four more years of experience and continuing education under my belt that I can provide excellent service to you. My new prices starting August 1, 2023 will be:
30 minutes = $60
60 minutes = $100
90 minutes = $135
This can be a win-win situation because while I cannot work right now, I can still sell gift certificates. You can buy gift certificates at my current prices (30/60/90 minutes at $50/$90/$125 respectively) and use them for your next appointment when I return to work, or get a little jump on any gift-giving occasions coming up. You’ll save a bit and I’ll have a little income and something useful to do. As always my gift certificates never expire. Just email me and we can get it all arranged.
In the meantime, I have several wonderful local massage therapists I’ll recommend to you:
Kevin Comeau, Vermont Massage Therapy
James Novakowsi, practicing at Open Door
Bethany Fleishman, bethanyfleishman.com
Evelyn Zuckerman, https://www.amtamassage.org/famt/39861/evelyn-g-zuckerman/
Thank you for reading my update. Be well and I look forward to seeing you when I can work again!
